O’Connor’s SuperValu in Westport has won the prestigious award of SuperValu Service Excellence Store of the Year.
The Westport store, which is part of the Kavanagh Group, was one of four stores shortlisted for the award, which was presented at the SuperValu annual conference in Killarney.
The shortlisted stores were judged for staff enthusiasm and friendliness, customer service levels, the store’s recruitment policy and internal training, and its internal communications to staff. O’Connor’s in Westport scored higher than its competitors.
Receiving the award, store manager Liam Campion paid tribute to his team for their dedication to customer service.
